Find out moreExecutive Chef Robert Manea grew up in the North of Romania, close to Moldova Iasi, where his passion for good food began in his mother's kitchen.
He relocated to London in 2012, gaining experience at The Ledbury before spending five years at the Michelin-starred L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon.
Robert joined Bōkan when it opened on 14 February 2017, was promoted to Head Chef in 2019, and took up the role of Executive Chef in June 2022.
